According to an executive order issued by the Governor of New York, except for employees who have received religious or medical exemptions, health care and court staff must receive at least one dose of vaccine before September 27. Among them, the health system has the most stringent requirements and does not provide Exempted, those who do not vaccinate will face dismissal. And except for a small number of employees who can obtain the doctor’s approval for medical reasons, other medical staff who have been dismissed because of refusing to be vaccinated will not be eligible for unemployment insurance.
The New York City government also mandates vaccinations for employees of the city’s education system, and those who violate the order will not be able to enter public speaking activity in the classroom.
